Self building and Co Housing

Although this site already has full planning permission and has been conceived as a development to be built through in one go, or in a couple of phases, there are other permutations.

 

For example individuals could express an interest in buying a plot only. Only three plot buyers would be required to get the smallest block started. Buyers could arrange the work themselves and do some of it direct. Clearly collaboration would be needed.

 

The development is also suited to a co housing type of arrangement with individuals forming their own company to buy, commission and develop the site. It should also be possible to amend the planning permission to create substitute built facilities, for example a community centre, or sub divide the built form to create a more diverse range of accommodation.
