Gomersal Green Homes Ltd is the company promoting the construction of high quality homes on a site at Cliffe Lane, Gomersal. It is a local company registered in Liversedge.

The former derelict mill on the land was demolished and the site cleared by the company in 2004, including the demolition of a substation and re-routing of an electricity cable.  Following this - to satisfy Kirklees Council - work got underway to reclaim 8 hectares (20 acres) of adjacent derelict land and turn it into woodland with permissive paths. Over 4,000 trees are now growing there.

Architectural services were then procured* by the company and planning permission sought to develop the land with 18 houses. Full approval has now been obtained.

The company is now looking to sell the site for development by others, or to develop jointly in conjunction with a partner business.
